Cheryl Brooks, 2020-2022 Missions

Cheryl Brooks is a graduate student from Beulah Heights University, located in Atlanta, Georgia; She is currently attending Strayer University, Washington, DC. In obtaining her master's degree in Public Administration. She was nominated in 2020 to serve a 2-year term on the Society of Women in Theology Organization Council Board as overseer of the Missions Department. Cheryl would like her voice to be heard and is a very humble and compassionate individual. She speaks of this phase of her life's journey as one of the most fulfilling and rewarding times in her life. She carries a passion for ministry like no other; she enjoys and takes advantage of every opportunity to help others.


Cheryl has many gifts and talents in which she willingly displayed during her times of employment. She is currently providing full-time home care services for her mother, sister, and a close family friend. Cheryl has worked for several well-known companies such as iOS Devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod), Northrop Grumman, Washington Inventory Service, the Joint Military Development Services (JMDS), and Paragon Way Incorporated. Cheryl has also worked in the field as an independent contractor as a Customer Service Representative.


Cheryl is very community orientated and has worked in various positions dealing with the public and community. She has met and serviced many clients through her employment with Variable, Door Dash, and Instacart. Cheryl served in the military for over 20 years. In her time of serving her country, Cheryl has traveled around various parts of the world and earned many degrees and certificates. Some of her travels include serving at Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Carson, Colorado, Soto Cano, Honduras, Camp Humphreys, South Korea, and Pirmasens Germany.


Cheryl, throughout her travels, has accomplished many academic achievements. She has received her BIS in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Cheryl attended the Texas Sonship School of the Firstborn in Central Texas, received a certificate for Combat Service support in Fort Hood, Texas, and attended and received her certificates and degrees in various courses in Fort Lee, Texas, and South Korea. Cheryl is a very accomplished young woman as she continues to pursue her mission in life.
